Explore Perth - Things To See & Do
The gateway to Western Australia, Perth is famous for its sunny days and perfect blue skies, with around 3000 hours of sunshine a year - more than any other capital city in Australia!
Exploring Perth City and getting around is easy. The city centre is about a 1km walk from the Goodearth Hotel, or hop on any of the buses travelling along Adelaide Terrace & St Georges Terrace for free - the Goodearth Hotel is located in the City's free transit zone (FTZ). There are 2 bus stops located outside the hotel, approximately 50m either way. In addition, the City operates free CAT buses which travel along various circle routes and are colour coded - there are bus stops for the Red CAT along nearby Hay Street.
So what to see and do in Perth? Perth’s small bar and pub scene has exploded recently with establishments popping up all over the city. Look down a laneway or hidden space to discover quirky, refreshing, or sophisticated venues to enjoy craft beers, fine wines, amazing cocktails, local music, tapas style eats or something more hearty.
